Project Details:

Seeding rate was 10 kg per hectares, with 18 local species selected. Within 12 months all 18 species were recorded on site. This project was particularly interesting because of how successful the understory species were, Lomandra’s, Dianella’s, Smilex, Oplismenus. By the fifth year, many local species started to dominate the site, 33 species being recorded. Ecoblanket is an incredibly good germination medium, rapidly encouraging local recruitment species.
